Beyond performing, teaching, and training, Janae is dedicated to her personal improv and somatic dance practices. During the pandemic, Janae spent a lot of time camping and exploring outdoor spaces and has created a series of short dance films during her travels. She is dedicated to honesty and truth in her art and is interested in how different performing art mediums intersect to create new and interesting work.
